AURORA There was no shift in his expression as he looked at me. No life in his eyes and for a short moment. I wanted to see him feel something. Anything at all and yet I couldn't help the strong burst of disappointment I felt when I didn't. “You're staying,”he said. It wasn't a plea. It was hard to recognize what it was. A command. Like I wouldn't think about leaving twice. I wondered how long he thought he would be able to command me and I felt a flush of hot anger rush through me. “I am not staying and you cannot make me” I growled, closing the remaining distance between us.
