My steps beat the Parisian pavement wet by a fine, icy rain. The streets are deserted and it’s understandable, you have to be crazy to want to be out in such weather. Or motivated by an irrational decision as in my case. If the streets are empty, the restaurants are not. When I look in the direction of the few establishments I know, they are all packed. Normal for a Saturday night, you might say. I finally see the one I wanted to go to this evening.
