My heart was racing and I couldn't stop following the man with my eyes. He was tall and muscular with long blueish hair that had hints of gold in it. He was truly gorgeous and my heart was beating so fast and loud that I thought it would explode. I watched as he walked over to a large bookcase built into the wall and began looking for a book. As he ran his long fingers over the books I couldn't stop thinking about how I wanted his hands to touch me like that. Caress me like that and I felt my souther region begin grow wet. Why was I feeling like this? I had never felt this before. "I can feel your eyes on me," he said as he kept looking at the bookcase. "Sssorry," I said as I quickly looked away and began to work on my task. He began to chuckle but I swore he took a deep breath as well. Could he smell the fact I wanted him? As I was sweeping the floor the man sat down in a chair in the corner of the room and opened his book. Everytime he turned a page I looked at him and he would chuckle and that chuckle would cause my heart to pound even faster and my core to grow wetter. Something was wrong with me because I had never felt this way about any man. "Leviathan we need to discuss this," Dravin said as he entered the room. I did not even need to look up to know it was him. "I told the council and my father what my thoughts were," Leviathan said as he turned another page. "What are you doing here?" Dravin said as he stopped right in front of me. "I ah. This is what I was told to do." "And you have not sent her away. You hate humans." "She can stay. Her scent does not bother me." "Go," Dravins said. I could feel his eyes on me and when I peaked up he did not look happy. "Yes sir," I said as I began to walk away and even though I wanted to stay near the dragon prince I could feel the anger rolling off of Dravin. I had to get away. "Now, why did you have to go and send her away?" I heard Leviathan say causing my heart to race. Did he want to be around me? "She is a human and you hate them. Why are you acting like this?" Dravin said with a hint of curiosity to his tone. "Because." "Because is not an answer," Dravin said with an annoyed tone this time. I shouldn't be listening but I was curious plus I didn't want to leave him. I felt safe in his room and alive. "I found my mate." My heart split into pieces hearing the prince talk about finding his mate. I wanted someone to grow old with. Someone to hold me when I was sad, bring me flowers to make me smile but I would never have that. I would never have children but what I did have was a death sentence. I began to walk down the hall and soon stopped when I realized I had no clue where I was going or where I was. Since there was no one around I could not ask for directions, so I just kept walking. I was starting to get upset becasue I felt like I was walking forver or in a big circle I had no clue. I let out a big sigh. "You lost?" A male voice said causing me to scream and jump. I looked up and there he was. The prince. Leviathan. I quickly looked down and said, "Yes. Could you please show me the way?" "Hmmm. Let me think about it." "I would appracite it," I whispered. "Follow me," He said as he took my hand causing my heart to beat even faster then what it did. I glanced up at him and he had a smile on his face. Soon he was pulling me through hallways and down a staircase and as soon we hit the next hallway he let go of my hand. I wanted to reach out again and hold his hand but I knew it was wrong. He had a mate and he was a dragon. I could be killed just for touching him. "Just go down this hall and at the first hallway turn left. Your will end up where the humans go." "Thank you," I said as I walked away and all he did was grunt but when I turned back to look at him he was staring at me. I quickly turned around and smiled. Perhaps working here wouldn't be so bad. Leviathan's Point of view She was gorgous and all I wanted to do was touch her. From the moment I walked into my wing of the palace I had to find the persons whose scent that called to me and low and behold there she was. A maid, a servent cleaning my room but only humans worked around the palace. This could not be right because no dragon would mate with a human, it was not our way. I could not let Dravin know the idenitiy of my mate until I figured out what was going on. I tried to keep an eye on her and when she left for the day I followed her home. I saw her sigh before entering the cottage that looked ready to fall to pieces. How could she live like this? It appeared she lived alone because I did not smell nor hear anyone else. From the thickness of the froset I watched as she walked outside wearing a dirty, holey dress and begin to move things from the back yard. She began yelling at the objects and I couldn't help but smile. She had spirit and fire. She spent hours working in the yard but not making any progress. I couldn't help but wonder why she was alone and in such a horrible house. -Hey guys. Since I am working midnights during the weekend again and have time to write, I will be uploading another book called moon kissed. Starting next week I will drop more chapters of this book and the other book. Here is a glimpse of Moon kissed. I woke up to a loud smashing sound waking me from my deep slumber and quickly sat up. They were here and I needed to go now. As I stood up suddenly my room door opened and I was about to scream until I heard my mother's voice. “You need to go Molly. I’ll hold them off and then I will find you,” she said as she hugged me tightly. It was a hug that said I love you and this might be it but I knew she would come back, she always did. “I love you,” I whispered as she left the room leaving me alone in the darkness. I could hear someone banging things around downstairs and a set of footsteps walking up the stairs. I silently prayed that my mother would be okay as I walked over to my window and opened it. I couldn’t believe they found us, the men in black. They had been chasing us for as long as I could remember but recently, they began finding us within a matter of months instead of a year or so. I had no clue why. We had only been in this small town for two months and before that we lived in the city for five months. I never felt like I could relax or stop looking over my shoulder because they were always there. The first thing we did when we moved here was establish a meeting spot that had extra clothes and money in it. We had a plan and now it was time to act on it but how long could we run until they killed us or captured us? As I was about to jump out of the window and into the warm breeze, I heard things being smashed down the hall and fighting happening. I wanted to stay but I could not risk being caught, so I jumped. I landed without making a sound and began to run towards the woods behind the house we had called home for such a short period of time. With the darkness blanketing me outside and the trees providing protection for a small moment I looked at the house. “Please come back to me,” I whispered into the air and then turned around and began to run. The meeting spot was about two hours away if I ran and if I walked well, it could take several more hours. I could not afford to walk because the men in black would begin combing the woods for us once they discovered us both gone and their men dead. I wasn’t far from home when I felt something inside of me c***k and I fell to the ground mid run. I let out a sob and knew she was dead. They killed her, my mother. I felt like someone had ripped out my insides and I couldn’t breathe. I laid there for a while and cried on the cold ground crying. I couldn’t believe she was gone. I slowly stood up and wiped the tears that had fallen from my face and began to slowly walk. I was alone for the first time in my life. It had always been my mom and I. I had no clue who my father was, or where I was born because we had always been on the run. I had no friends to turn to help me and for the first time I had realized how much the men in black had cost me. With anger coursing through me I began to run again because I would not let them catch me. I would not let my mother die and then have them do the same to me. I would run and one day I would kill them all.
