who are you?

She ran through the woods. Her bare feet pounded against the hard dirt path. Her long brown hair flew behind her as she ran through the winds.

She glanced over her shoulder. A shadow flitted down the path after her. Its blue eyes promised her dangerous desires she dared not satiate. Her foot caught on a root. She tumbled onto the ground. The shadow stretched over her. She spun around. A hulking figure stood before her. It leaned down and cupped her cheek in its warm paw. Her pulse quickened. A strong, hot urge enveloped her body. The shadow leaned down. Its sweet vanilla scent washed over her. She closed her eyes and fell into the delicious heat and smell. A door slammed, causing her wide awake. She sat up and whipped her head to and fro.

" Aly, it's getting late . Come on, let's go" Simone , Aaron's mate and Allyse's friend called her after knocking on her door .

" I am up. Wait a sec. " A sweet voice came followed by the footsteps. Alysse is 5 ft 8 in tall athletic girl with golden color eyes. His long brown silky hair was let loose . She wore a simple white top and a black skinny jeans. She looks breathtaking.

Alysse is a sweet, innocent girl living among the werewolves. She's also a werewolf but for some odd reason, she hasn't been shifted yet. She's already 20 but haven't found her mate yet. She is ridiculed for that by her pack members. But no one treat her bad due to fear of her best friend Aaron who is the alpha of Red moon pack.

Aaron become alpha sooner than he would've expected as his father was killed by a evil sorceress Wren. Wren and his father had a discussion in his office but it didn't turn out well. Wren got angry and burned into ashes right there.

Aaron is asked by his father to protect Alysse from any harm and always be there for her. Aaron treats her as his own sister.

Aaron and Alysse works in the super market for a part time job. Not many people knew they are werewolves.

Murders, fights and deaths are all a day to day event for the people there in LA. Ever since Sebastian and his pack started to expand their territories, this is common event. Aaron through he's brave, he doesn't want to mess with this Sebastian guy for he know if he does, his red moon pack will be long gone. Aaron thinks about his family and his pack first.

" Did you heard about the mysterious deaths of fifty guys in the forest last night? " A worker asked the other one when Aaron and Alysse entered the godown to take stocks.

They both were shocked and decided to check on the spot for any information as they have to warn their pack members from wandering around.

Alysse's POV:

"ha? Huh? What happened?" I mumbled.

"You fell asleep, that's what happened," Johnny replied with a smug look on his face. Johnny is my brother's best friend.

I shrugged off his hands, sat back in my chair, and stifled a yawn. "Oh, is that all?"

"Is that all? It's the third time I've to wake you up. Some day I won't be able to save the day," he scolded me.

I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. "Yeah, I know, I got bored with all this paperwork." I gestured to a pile a foot tall at the end of my desk. It was an inch tall when I arrived that morning. "These piles are annoying."

"Three times more annoying, but who's counting?" he laughed.

I slumped over my desk. "I am. This job is so boring my mind gets rusted just thinking about it."

He patted me on the back. "We all feel like that, but what are you going to do about it?"

I squared my jaw and straightened in my chair. " I could leave right now and-"

"-and you should because it's almost five," Johnny countered me.

Aaron too happen to arrive at the same time and laughed at me while hifiving Johnny.

Aaron then received the call from someone on his mobile as his face went pale. Aaron rushed us back to the packhouse. Simone too was nervous.

" Just tell me what's wrong? " I asked them as I don't want to be clueless. I could sense something about to happen today. It's just I don't know whether it's good or bad.

" It's about Alpha Sebastian. He wants to meet me. "Aaron said calmly. But I knew him. He's anything but calm right now.

Aaron as if realizing something grabbed my hand and lead me towards my room which is on third floor.

" I'm sorry Aly, I wish I could bring you with me. But I can't. Dad told me to keep you safe and not let you out when strangers are here. "

"But... I don't want to be alone," I said, whispering the last part. I can't let him alone.Aaron's frown deepened. "Do I really have to stay here?"

"Alpha Sebastian himself is coming here. He's the scariest ruthless and merciless alpha. I can't risk you with him," He explained.

"Who is that monster?"

His eyes widened at her question.

"You never heard about Alpha Sebastian?" She shook her head. Aaron couldn't believe it. He was well-known as the strongest Alpha ever. People described him as fierce, cruel, and ruthless. Rumor has it that he has killed thousands of people. Aaron vividly remembered his immensely powerful aura when he first met him; he wasalmost shivering in fear.

"Well, in short, he's a very powerful Alpha."

Alysse looked down as the tears finally fell down her eyes. He pulled her closer, rubbing her back soothingly. "Don't cry, you know I hate to see you cry."

"Then don't lock me here." I sniffled into his shoulder.

"You'll be fine without me. You have the rest of the pack members to protect you." I continued crying softly into his

shirt, making him sigh. I pulled away from his arms, looking at him in the eyes. "You do what's right. I won't hold you back," I said, wiping the tears from my cheeks. Aaron glanced at his watch.

Third person's POV:

"Alpha Sebastian is arriving in about 5 minutes. I should start getting ready if in case anything happens.Take care. Don't come out until I say." He gave his sister a smile before leading his pack outside.

Alysse sighed before sitting on her bed. Suddenly she remembered the cake she baked for Aaron. She rushed towards the window.

"Aaron?" Alysse called, poking her head outside the window. "Your cake is ready. At least come eat a slice before you meet him. "

"You made a cake for me? Thank you, I'll be there in a minute." He replied back and send her inside just in time. He gulped nervously as he saw a black luxury SUV pull up in front of his house. "Stop being scared of him Aaron," He thought to himself. "He won't hurt you. He's in your territory now." The windows of the car rolled down as he approached it.

"Good evening, Alpha."

The man simply nodded in response. Aaron looked back at his house, before mustering up the courage to say.

"Would you like to come inside and have some cake first?"

The Alpha turned his head to meet his eyes. His gaze was so intense that Aaron hold his breath. "Cake?"

"Well, my sister made a cake for me, and I think she'd appreciate if you came to eat it too. Or, if you're in a hurry, I am easy to go and we can leave to the hotel for the discussion," He blurted out.

"I'm not in a hurry. Take your time, I'll wait." Aaron frowned, not liking the idea of the Alpha waiting outside.

"Please come in sir, she's one of the best bakers. " The Alpha thought for a while, before finally opening the door.

"Alright." He stepped out and came out of his car. The other two guys stayed back. Aaron smiled and led him inside.

The Alpha's nostrils were instantly filled with a strong, sweet vanilla scent. "It must be the cake," He thought. On the table stood a small layered cake, beautifully frosted with strawberry cream, and decorated with fruits. He wasn't a big fan of sweets, but accepted a slice of the cake anyway. To his surprise, it tasted delicious.

The two spent the next couple of minutes discussing about his expansion plans. The argument between them caused a lot of noise and it made alysse come down. Big mistake of her life.

She walked downstairs to see what's going on with them, but stopped in her tracks. She didn't want to interrupt the seemingly important argument he was having. "Too late," She thought, as they had both already noticed her.

Alpha Sebastian's eyes scanned her entire body, taking in her small frame. She was wearing a flowy, peach-colored dress which hugged her slim figure nicely and complimented her skin tone well. His eyes finally landed on her face, and her breath hitched. She was absolutely beautiful. He could not take his eyes off her.

His eyes were icy blue, completely inconsistent with his light brown hair but somehow the contrast only made for a more striking combination.

" Who are you? "Alpha Sebastian asked her though he knows who she is. Alysse just stood there not knowing what exactly to say.

" Mate! " He growled as he pulled her in his embrace.
