‘How many times do I need to repeat myself, I’m her husband’ he spits back.
‘As many times as you want too’ I growl firmly, ‘I heard you the first time, but that doesn’t negate the fact that my charge has been severely beaten by someone.
Until that person is found and its been proven that you were not the person who hurt her, no one but authorised staff members will be allowed access to the patient.’
I stare cooly at the man as his hands tighten into fists, pretty sure he won’t take a swing even if he wants to. ‘I didn’t hurt my wife, she’s clumsy, she hurts herself.’
I just raise an eyebrow, ‘that remains to be seen, doesn’t it’ I state firmly.
