I lift the deer hide from the end of the bed and take Anders’ hand in mine, leading him outside.
“What are you doing, Ellie?” he asks with a small chuckle, but he doesn’t resist and pulls the door to the house closed behind us.
“Do you have a problem with being outside?” I ask with a smirk. “I thought you’d be good with it, being part wolf and all.”
He wraps his arms around me, lifting me from behind to place a kiss on my cheek, and gently sits me back on my feet. “Whatever you say goes this time, Ost Minn. I just need to know that you are alright.”
“I swear, I’m fine,” I tell him, placing a hand on his chest. “I don’t want to leave you, either. I wouldn’t do anything to risk leaving you and Mani.”
He nods once and seems to relax, I guess finally understanding that I am really
