“You take a bath first,” Anders says softly, kissing me on my head as he helps me back to my feet. “No,” I protest. “You need the warmth to help you.” He shakes his head, smiling down at me. “I don’t. Not this time.” He leaves me there and moves to the fire, moving the pots and dumping the warm water in. “You,” he says with a smile. He helps me in, handing me the soap as I sink into the water. I’d feel bad for getting in before him while it’s warm if it didn’t feel so wonderful. “Will you talk to me now?” I ask him, not really understanding what is going on.
