C003 Come And Proceed To Get Your Welfare Package

2062 Words
Hiko-sama informed me that the elderly couple would be leaving on this month's end and wanted to sell the house and lot for 200 gold coins. At the present moment, we do not have a need for an extra house but we will turn it into a small warehouse instead. We discussed the matter with the elderly couple and we acquired the plan for the lot and had the registrar to register the plot of land under Hiko-sama's name. Since the plot of land was just beside us, we removed the fencing between each other and expanded its land usage. We changed the name of the land, and we passed the coins to the elderly couple and helped them move their whatever valuables they had and bade them farewell. The neighbours knew the elderly couple had long wanted to sell the land but no one wanted to buy them as everyone had their own individual plot of land already. The size of the land was equivalent and I gathered the storekeeper and delivery boys on their ideas on how to relocate this house since we have little use of it. The men suggested that they piping be detached and then roll the house closer to the border of the fence which was about 2 to meters ahead. The method of rolling the house would be inserting a few logs underneath it and knocked the base foundation underneath it. Once the house foundation had been detached from the ground, it would be easily moved in any direction and the log would serve as the foundation. The sewerage pipe and water supply piping would be attached back. We showed the interior and wanted to knock down the wall partitions and making it into one big space. There would be a removal of the kitchenette and a side door would be installed. They said the whole process would be about a day's work with the two long logs and detachment and fixtures of sewer and water supply pipes. We showed them the water tower and asked if that would be possible to remove from the ground and shifted closer up next to the house. Since the water tower was just the height of the house, they would need to make a small staging to first detach the tank and then the tower and its piping and reroute it back further. I asked about the size of the warehouse if we were to build another three more on the grounds and after they take some measurements, in order to make 3 warehouses, the house has to go. The water tower needs to be shifted a bit between the space of 2 warehouses. A small triple outhouse could be made and several picnic benches could be installed for the workers to take their breaks and meals. After drawing in the sketchpad using exact measurements scaled-down, the house would definitely have to go. The materials salvaged from the house could be kept and made into the triple or quadruple outhouses instead. After studying the plan we would be working on it right after the 1st sales of the new month had been completed. By this time the warehouse would have another 4 more new STM and the ambassadors would be back soon to start the deliveries of the Karada Soap, Kurin, Feroa Kurina, Hae Shanpu and the soap dishes as well as the Refined Iron plates. By afternoon, right after lunch, the 4 ambassadors had arrived back to our village and they reported back to us on their progress. The 4 ambassadors had assigned someone to clean the locale, add a fresh coat of paint and added furnishings to it and placed the billboard and banner on the front glass fronts. As the locale is not yet operational even though they had secured a sales lady and trained her on the product knowledge, the glass shop front had been covered with a veil and would be officially launched by Hiko-sama and me. PROGRESS REPORT: All the three locales in town can now display a functional STM and can start taking orders upon the locale soft launch and a demonstration of the uses of STM. Awaiting the day when Hiko-sama and I would be there for the launch dates. PROGRESS REPORT: For the iron ores and coal had been found dotted along the mountain regions around Fukushima, Yamagata and Niigata prefecture. The cost of one cartload of iron ore costs 2 gold coins while coal costs 1 gold coin. Delivery to Kitakata is free for 5 cartloads of Iron ore and coal. At any period of time, 3 prefectures under one prospectus were able to supply 15 carts of iron ores and coal respectively to Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha here in Kitakata monthly at a cost of 45 gold. Delivery expected on every fortnightly starting from the 2nd week onwards. PROGRESS REPORT: The speculated and projection of the supply of Refined Iron has been a success and everyone welcomed the idea of the supply of 500 pieces of Refined Iron plates every two weeks for each Blacksmith for the Aizuwakamatsu, Yonezawa and Shibata Towns. They would be expecting the delivery by mid of 1st week of the month. PROGRESS REPORT: The cosmetics department were inquiring about the deliveries and were expecting deliveries to be made on the 1st week of the month as well. PROGRESS REPORT: We had informed the ambassadors that we had acquired the land next door and would be building 3 warehouse c*m production facilities and would be expanding the business further after making the 1st sales of Refined Iron plates or cosmetics. The money acquired from the sales would be used to build the 3 warehouses. PROGRESS REPORT: A new product would be introduced called Kaori No Kyandoru which is Scented Candles for the bathrooms bedroom, living hall and to induce sleep, reduce anxiety et cetera. An RnD would be performed and the two herbalists would be able to give us some tips to make 6 Scented Candles for distribution as well. PROGRESS REPORT: Payday is tomorrow and Hiko-sama would prepare accordingly to the monthly fixed salaries and commission based on the sales they had made and not projected. So the sales they had projected and be delivered next month would be under next month's commission. After the exchange of progress report on both sides, the ambassadors couldn't wait to receive their first salary from Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha and this is also for the rest of the worker. So there's been a lot of silvers and gold coins to distribute as Hiko-sama had already completed the payroll for every employee on the ground. News spread like wildfire on the issuance if salary tomorrow and everyone was excited. Even the 6 original girls were ecstatic as they could finally purchase the Karada Soap and Hae Shanpu all at staff prices. Preparations had been made underway for the delivery of Refined Iron and cosmetics products to be made on the 1st day of the month. Kayu-San had been summoned and this time we required 30 men to be arranged for the building of the 3 warehouses at the same time. After kayu-San and several men had surveyed the place and planned on how the process would work, we would confirm the date of the groundbreaking. Meantime, the sacks of 4.5 tonnes of rice had been delivered and paid for, and the all the girls had taken time off to visit all the households in the outermost District and stamped the wrists of either the head of the household or the women. The girls then told the residents to go to the east side monastery the morning after at 10 am to collect something that had been prepared by Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha. All the girls had not missed stamping the red ink on the wrists of every household and had informed them of the event. Meanwhile, the 10 stacks of rice that were placed on 4 pallets per stack were neatly lined in the courtyard and the disciples of the monastery kept a close guard on the provisions. 10 tables were also lined at the collection point and several clean rags and a jar of rubbing alcohol were made available to rub off the stamped mark after collection of the rice. Once the event ends tomorrow, the balance of the rice packs would be donated to the monastery. The girls who had helped to stamp the wrists of each household member resumed their work. Tomorrow would be similar after the event as work still has to resume despite the additional social activity. The preparations of the delivery would take place on the 2nd day of the new month and it was the month where a new season would emerge after a long winter season. After I had gone to the treasury to change 40 gold coins into silvers, I gave them to Hiko-sama to distribute the salary accordingly. The managers had been paid first, followed by the 6 girls and then the rest of the employees. The vests that had been designed by me and personalise for the production line were immediately distributed respectively and worn. Now it looked more like a bustling little business rather than a jumble of manpower. The guards were given red kimonos and white hakama as a standard guards uniform. The storekeeper wore a white gi and blue hakama for their uniform while the delivery boys wore a red gi and black hakama. The passerby looked at them and was impressed with the organisation that started off with only 6 girls and had grown to close 50 personnel on the ground. They were also impressed with the vests and standard issuance for the storekeeper, delivery boys and guards even. +-==The following morning ==-+ Everyone assembled in the morning at 8 is and were briefed on the crowd control as well as the procedure on collection, distribution and the cleaning of the stamped mark before the collectors had been dispersed. The disciples of the monastery also would be helping to maintain order. 2 guards were left to stationed and guard the grounds when everyone had gone. After breakfast, we moved out and the girls all wore their vests, the storekeeper and delivery boys in their standard issued gear marched towards the Eastern monastery. As soon as the residents from outermost District saw them marching out, throngs of neighbours and friends came along and followed behind. If this is a war, the sight of the men and women marching out of the district would make the enemies s**t in the paaaaaaants! It was a sight to behold, and the Mayor soon received the news and since it does not affect his daily affairs of economic and other matters he took no interest, the damn bastard. Simply said, the mayor just has the interest for his own mouth and stomach! Hiko-sama and the 4 managers came to know about this and hoped that one day they would run for mayor (is this a spoiler or what) and turn this town upside down and restructure everything. A few long lines of residents were there and when they saw their husbands, children and ward marching up to the top of the monastery where the pallets of rice were placed, cheers of 'God Bless Fasuto Japan' were heard. Hiko-sama and I stood on the makeshift platform and flanked by the 4 managers and the high Monk and disciples on each side we made a welcoming address. "Good morning, my fellow friends and family members of the staffs of Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha. From today onwards, every household would receive a sack of 10-kilogram rice as a means of your livelihood." Cheers erupted within the crowd and were soon settled down by the High Monk. "We would like everyone to cooperate in keeping peace and lined up orderly as you come forward and show your stamped wrist to the girls at the table here. They will remove that stamp and you will proceed to collect your rice sack and exit through and turn to the left or right as shown by the disciples here." "At the meantime, let God above bless everyone here including the High Monk and his disciples for making this event a success. So one by one, please proceed to the tables now in an orderly manner. Amitabha! "
