“It was a prophecy, Blake. Your grandmother will agree that there is no way to avoid a damn prophecy!” Circe jumped up and started packing again, but she had no idea why anymore. Her own words just told her that even if they stayed at home, the damn prophecy would have found a way to happen.
“That doesn’t seem to be true anymore.” Moon’s words made their eyes shoot at her as she sighed and explained about the life books and how the prophecy had disappeared. She didn’t tell them that if she wrote something in a life book that would happen. The creator had given her permission to tell Blake and Circe about the books but not the entire truth about how they worked. “The prophecy is gone. It’s no longer in Blake’s book.”
