CHAPTER FOUR “I’m going out to the CAA truck,” Ariel turned her gaze to the guard. “Would you mind coming out on the stairs at least? It’s dark, and I don’t feel very safe,” she explained, feeling stupid for uttering those words. An independent woman always took care of herself, after all.
