I never knew I could miss someone the way I missed Karen. Two days felt like an eternity. I snapped at everyone and didn't want to do anything. I thought I could hold on until Friday, but by the second night, I realised it would be impossible. My heart felt empty. I had nothing to be happy about. I slept on the floor because my bed felt alien to me. I couldn't take it anymore and decided to drive down to Gavin's place by three in the morning.
When I saw Karen my heart was at peace again. When I saw the sunglasses I intend to beat up her sparring partner. The way she ran to me made me realises she had missed me too. I didn't know how much until I took off her sunglasses in the room. She must have cried all night. With the way she had behaved, I figured I was the reason for her tears
