What happened to Karen scared the hell out of me. The fact that my actions could have caused me to lose her put a lot of things into perspective. I didn't know how important Karen was until I saw her bruised tummy. I knew I wouldn't be able to let the issue with the pimps go, but there was no way I was going to let Karen know I wasn't going to let them go.
