With each passing day, I began to think that my father after all knew what he was doing, when choosing Violet for my mate. I never thought I would come to think like that. Contrary to Simon's impression, that I was waiting for Melissa, that was not the case. I've always thought that I was incapable of emotional attachment, so I ran away from any kind of commitment.
