We were all on high alert, no one could find Colette. At first daddy Alarick came into my room waking me up around seven-thirty in the morning, right after the moon set and the sun started to rise. He wanted to know why Colette and I weren’t there for the ceremony. Before I could answer him daddy Lyell came in through the joined bathroom panicked, asking me where Colette was.
