Jade pov I walked up the steps to the packhouse with a deep sigh, today was so exhausting. More than once I could feel Julien’s eyes on me, following me as I walked in the halls. My hand was throbbing, it was deeper than I thought it would be. When I went to the school nurse she bandaged it up and told me I needed stitches. Stitches! Me? Who was she kidding, I refused to have scars on my body! I had to change the bandage three times today, and it felt like Julien was zeroing in on my wrist, as if trying to see if either I forgot to take the bandaid off or if there was really still a cut there.
