We followed after the woman apprehensively, or at least I did. Jade was angry, having tried eight times now to ask this woman where Snowball and Pumpkin were. It took me a minute to realize she was talking about her bunny and the cat since I never really caught their names, but the woman either was ignoring Jade or didn’t know what she was talking about. “Stop ignoring me and tell me where Pumpkin and Snowball are!” Jade yelled at the woman, grabbing her wrist.
