The party was beautiful, and I could see all the planning that went into it. They had filled the room and the outside with string lanterns, turning off the big lights and casting the whole room in a reddish hue. Certain people’s outfits didn’t look as good with the reddish hue gleaming on them, but my golden dress lit up the room and made a fire-looking appeal to it. I wondered for the first time how awesome it would be to have dark red hair like Uncle Brandos, and how amazing it would have been to pair that hair with the golden dress. I couldn’t help standing there contemplating whether or not I should have given the golden material to Colette and Emmett instead, but the fact that her hair was white made it seem more washed out in appearance with the idea of the gold
