I sat down at the edge of my bed and sighed, looking up at Emmett as he walked into my room after me. I had told him I needed to talk to him about something important, and he was staring at me with confusion. I knew I shouldn’t say anything to him, I shouldn’t say this to anyone, but It was too much, I couldn’t hold it back any longer. I looked up at him, trying to memorize the way his eyes looked at me before I spoke the words that would forever change how he saw me. “I’m in love with you. Not just as a cousin, but as a lover. I’m completely and utterly in love with you, and I’ve always been.” I said to him softly.
Emmett looked down at me in surprise, and I could feel my heart sinking as his eyes transformed in front of me, from confusion to disgust, always full of disgust. H
