I sat there in the meeting room, watching everyone’s interactions as I remembered everything I did and all of what I still needed to do.
The arrival was…a lot, to be honest. That day was hard. When we all arrived, the first thing that happened was Mellissa called an emergency meeting. It took hours but eventually, everyone was loaded into the elite field behind the packhouse, the bleachers full of people and extras spilling out in fold-up chairs they brought along. While we waited Julien and I went over a map of the estimated size of the territory and the number of people living here. I was surprised to find that there was more land than the Blood Moon pack, but roughly the same amount of people. Not anymore, of course, since hundreds of pithes and Witches were coming.
