Jade Pov I have no idea how long I laid there for, but I knew I was drifting in and out. There was screaming at first, then the sound of voices, a little girl and a woman. “Julien,” I muttered over and over again, my lips cracking and a thin stream of blood sliding down my dry throat. Worry was flooding through me as I faded out again, the soft murmur of voices fading away. After what felt like forever I was able to open my eyes, only to be welcomed with the sight of nothing. Slowly my vision started to adjust and I could see rafters above me. I closed my eyes again and listened, hearing the soft neigh of horses and smelling the strong smell of fresh straw and a sharp smell of horse feces. There was a sharp pain in my upper thigh and my wrist and I summoned my healer power, slowly healing
