I jumped in surprise at the heavy bang echoing through the empty dusty cavern. I half stood half crouched, frozen, unsure what to do. Was this the others finally coming for me? Should I stay and talk to them, or should I leave? Do I have time to gather my things? They’ll see it all and use it as another excuse to banish me, knowing the evil little witch is in here alone casting spells.
