I ran down the hall and up the stairs to the Beta floor, running into Colette’s room. She was in a room connected with Emmett now. They moved us a few months ago. I was now in Colt’s joint room, the room for a Luna. I didn’t feel like a Luna, I felt like trash. I searched under her mattress for the grimoire, holding it close to me. I looked at the bed, how the last time I was in here I had walked in on Colette and Emmett and accused them of being together. But it was stupid, it was all stupid.
