Chapter 17
The following week went by really fast for Jane. She did a couple of fights but was unable to find out any more information about the child abductions and auctions. Jane was feeling down and out because she felt like her mission was hitting roadblocks. August was living permanently with Alex. Which in turn left Jane to living by herself again.
“Why is it that I am the one who has no one with her?” Jane asked out loud in her house. Knowing that no one would answer since no one was there.
Well, you are not alone. You seem to keep forgetting about me. Stop this pity party that you are on. Flower spoke in Jane’s mind.
