Chapter 25
“Thank you for the food. I can tell you what I know. I know that I am seven years old. I don't remember my name. I escaped from some bad people who have had me in a cage for several years. These people have starved me and even beat me up. I have watched as other children were sold.” The boy said in a small voice.
Jane realized that she was coming across more and more of these children that the sellers were losing. This must be the moon goddess at work in that she wanted Jane to help them. Jane let the boy rest just a little bit more until she prompted him to continue his story.
“I was finally able to escape. I am scared that they will find me but I am going to try my best to not get taken again. I do not want to be locked up in a cage again.” Jane walked over to the boy and
