Chapter 22
While Alex, Blade and the children were having their meeting Jane was having a meeting of her own.
“I am telling you something is up and I want to know what it is! This was my assignment first and now I have two knuckle heads butting their noses in on it.” Jane paced in front of Anna.
Anna watched as Jane became more and more agitated. Anna had always been Jane’s contact with the king but that was pulled from her when he found out she was pregnant.
“Jane, do you think it is the mate bond that is making you agitated?” Anna asked
“Yes but there is something else. Alex seems very upset by something right now but he is not letting me know what it is. I have to concentrate but I cant if I am worried about him.” Jane ran her hand up and down her face.
