Chapter 21
Both Blade and Alex stayed in the office for most of the rest of the night trying to come up with a plan. By the time that the sun started to rise both were fast asleep in their chairs in the office. The office door cracked open and two sets of eyes looked in.
“Do you think we should wake them up?” Lily asked August as the two children watched the two men sleep.
“No. Let's let them sleep. They seem to need it.” August whispered to Lily. Closing the door the two children walked down the hallway to August’s room. Walking into his room the two children each chose a place to sit so that they could talk.
“So we both know that Alex and Jane are working on rescuing the rest of the children. So do we want to help them?” Lily looked right into August’s eyes as she stated this.
