After the grocery store, Lola and the fae headed towards her apartment. They got everything unloaded and a quick lunch was made and enjoyed while Lola introduced the men to cartoons. Their laughter filled the room until Lola’s phone chimed, pulling her attention away.
Lola looked down at her phone, unlocking the screen to see a message waiting for her.
Erik: Just check to see if you made it home safely.
Lola brought her fingers to her lips, smiling while looking down at the screen as she typed back a message.
Lola: I did. What are you doing?
Erik: Thinking about you ;)
Lola blushed as she tucked her legs up on the couch. She was absorbed into the device and didn’t notice the golden eyes that studied her. Moving along her long, pale toned legs down to her pale pink polished toes. Puca bit his lip, fighting back a groan as he watched her from across the room.
Jealousy flared to life as he watched her staring at the rectangle in her hand. The way that it made her smile. He liked that smile. He just wished it was turned to one of them.
“Lola.” Bodach said and Puca realized he hadn’t been alone in his study of their hostess. She worried her lips, looking over at the other man, and Puca smirked to himself. He knew that look well. The other man was thinking about taking her over his knee.
Puca wondered how she would respond to being s*****d? He couldn’t help but wonder if her cheeks would flush as her eyes flashed with anger? Or would she lift her hips up to meet his hand? Her teeth biting her lower lip as she fought back a moan as he rained down blow after blow.
Puca shifted uncomfortably in his seat as his trousers got tighter at the idea of s******g Lola. He dragged a hand through his hair.
“Yes, Bodach?” She asked as she looked up, tucking her phone beneath her leg. Lola felt guilty over texting Erik, she didn’t know why.
“Would you like to come to the kitchen with me?”
“I um, I guess so.” She said watching as he unfolded his long legs and stood up. She sighed as she moved to follow him, and Puca smirked to himself.
He had a feeling he knew what was about to happen. It would either end up with tempers flaring or a very interesting turn of events.
Bodach leaned against the counter, his arms crossed across his chest. Lola walked into the kitchen and looked at the dark-haired man. Curious as to what he could need.
“Bodach-“
Lola looked up at him as he stepped forward. The hunger in his eyes taking away any thought she had to say anything. As she stopped in her tracks, for a moment she had the urge to run from him. To flee back to the safety of the living room with the others.
“Lola,” he said as he stepped forward, his hands coming up to gently cup her face. She gazed up at him with wide eyes as he caressed his thumb over her cheek. His finger trailing along her neck, making her shiver. The way that her name fell from his lips was spoken like a caress or a kiss.
“Y, y, yes?”
“What makes you smile like that?” Bodach said softly as he bit his lower lip. His gaze moving to her lips as her tongue darted out, moistening her full lower lip.
“Like what?” Lola asked as she watched his pupils dilate. His red eyes darkening with something she didn’t have a name for.
“As if someone made you feel like you are the only girl in the room.” He said, moving his fingers to her chin to keep her from looking away.
“Oh, um. Erik sent me a message on my phone.” Lola said as his thumb moved along her jaw.
“What would you say if I were to make you feel like the only woman in the world?” Bodach leaned closer and Lola took a deep breath as her eyes traveled to his lips.
“I don’t know.”
Bodach trailed his hand down her side, his other one tangling in her ponytail. “Do you want to find out?”
Lola looked at him through lowered lashes. She did want to find out. Her heart beat in her chest as she nodded and his lips pressed against hers. Softly at first, as he moved them so she was pressed against the counter.
His body pressed against hers as his tongue moved along the closed seam of her lips with feather light, teasing touches. Bodach let out a low groan as her lips parted under his questing tongue. She tasted just as sweet as he thought she would. Her hands fisted into the back of his shirt as her eyelids fluttered closed.
Bodach felt his c**k stirring to life at the hesitant way her tongue moved against his. He wanted to lift her up onto the counter. To press himself against her sensitive core, to trail his fingers up her thigh. He’d never wanted anyone as much as he wanted her right now from just a simple kiss. He gently tugged at the strands of hair around his fingers and smirked at the way she gasped.
Lola pressed her body closer to his as he pulled back, letting her catch her breath.
“Well?” Bodach said as he trailed his fingers over her collarbone.
“What? Why? I don’t understand.” Lola said as she struggled to get her breathing under control. Her head swam from his kiss. Or maybe it was the lack of oxygen.
“Do you feel like the only woman in the world?” Bodach asked as he trailed his nails over her shoulder, making her shiver as she felt the coil of arousal snaking through her body.
Lola looked at Bodach. She brought her fingertips up to swollen lips.
“Do you?” He asked again, “Does my kiss wipe everyone from your mind?”
Pressing her lips together, Lola met his hungry gaze. She thought about his question, in a way it did.
In another way, it didn’t. It made her wonder what it would be like to be with him and the other fae men.
Would Merrow’s kiss steal her breath away like Bodach’s had?
Would her toes curl if Puca pulled her hair, making her gasp in pleasure and pain?
Would her heart flutter as Lu’s lips pressed against hers?
“Does it?” Bodach asked as he leaned closer to her, and she could feel his hard length pressed against her abdomen. “Does it make you wonder what it would be like, to be with us?”
“Yes,” Lola breathed out. She watched Bodach’s lips twitch with a half smile. He leaned in, pressing his lips to hers once more, she moaned at the feel of his hands moving along the sides of her breasts. Teasing, feather light touches that had her shaking, craving more of his touch. She brought her hands to his waist to slide them up his shirt, splaying her hands over his tight abs.
The shrill ringing startled Bodach, and he pulled back. Looking towards the sharp sound. Shivering at the feel of her fingers tracing over his muscles. “What’s that sound?”
“That’s my cellphone.” Lola muttered as she pulled her hands away from him, Bodach backed up watching her leave the room. He wanted to pull her back to him, to see where her wandering hands would take themselves while he was tasting her.
Placing his hands on the cabinet, he took a deep breath. Trying to will the ache in his c**k away.
Lola scurried into the living room, grabbing the phone off of the couch and retreating to her room. Looking at the screen she worried her lower lip, Erik’s name flashed across the screen. She swiped her thumb across the screen, bringing it to her ear as she moved to sit on her bed.
“Hello?”
“Hi Lola, it’s me Erik.” He said with a long pause, “Of course, you know it’s me. We’ve been texting. You have my number.”
Lola smiled to herself. His nervousness was cute. “I do.”
“I was wondering if you were busy tomorrow morning?”
“No big plans,” Lola picked at the seam of the quilt underneath her.
“Would, would you like to come over for tea or maybe coffee?” Erik asked.
She could hear the nervousness in his voice. It made her heart beat quicker in her and her cheeks flood with warmth. It wasn’t the same as she felt with Bodach, when he had kissed her. Or even how she felt when she and Lu had danced in the store. She couldn’t help but wonder if this was a date or strictly business. Maybe he had another pick up envelope for her.
“Sure, sounds like fun.” She said, covering her cheek with her hand.
“Good, I’ll see you in the morning.” Erik said before ending the call.
Lola lay back on the bed as she sat her phone on the bed, the kiss still fresh on her mind as her lips tingled from Bodach’s kiss. She wondered what would have happened if they hadn’t been interrupted.
She didn’t see the sea-colored eyes that watched her from the hallway as Merrow stood in the darkness. Hidden in the shadows.
The way that Bodach had looked at him when he had come back into the room. Told him all he needed to know about what had happened between the two in the kitchen. His smug smirk had been all the conformation that he needed after the way she had all but fled the living room after grabbing the small black rectangle.
Her skin was flushed, eyes glassy with lust, and her lips swollen. Her beauty called to him, he longed for her to look at him like that.
Merrow wished he had been witness to what had happened in the kitchen, sure he wished it was him. He wanted her, there was no doubt in his mind after seeing her pressed between Puca and Bodach earlier. Even as he had watched her dance with Lu. A smile on her face as the leprechaun had spun her around, her girlish giggle music to his ears.
He wanted to step into the room, crawl up her body. To see if her lips still tasted of Bodach, to breathe in her sweet scent. To settle himself between her thighs, to feel the soft curves of her body as she moaned beneath him. Or maybe she would be silent in her pleasure. Either way, he couldn’t wait to find out.
Watching as she covered her face, he fought down the desire. There would be plenty of time for him to have a moment with her later.
Erik hung up the phone and looked around his shop with a sigh. He wanted to leave this place as much as he loved it here. It was beginning to feel like a prison. He let out a chuckle at the thought.
Glancing at the woman who sat across from him, he let a smile spread across his lips.
Soon, he could get out of here.
“Do you think it will work?” The woman asked him as she pushed her blonde hair out of her eyes. “That she will want to be with someone like you?”
“We shall see.” Erik sighed as he poured more tea into her cup.
“The one before her didn’t choose you.” She smirked, her brown eyes twinkling with mirth.
“Lola is different. I know she’s the one.” Erik said as he sat the teapot down and picked up his own teacup taking a sip, he hoped his words were true. He didn’t know how much longer he could stay here and keep his sanity intact.
