Lola stood in the kitchen, looking at the loaf of crusted baked bread that Merrow had made yesterday. An idea forming, one that she hoped her men would like. Reaching under the sink, she pulled out a wicker picnic basket and sat it on the cabinet. She moved to the knife block and went about slicing the bread before turning to the fridge. Pulling out the items she would need to fix sandwiches. Lola had a plan. Today she’d take the fae men on a date to one of her favorite places. She just hoped that they liked it as much as she did. She went about fixing the sandwiches and wrapping them in waxed paper before placing them into the basket. Turning to the fridge, she grabbed a carton of strawberries and blueberries.
