Sunlight spilled through the open window and curtains rustled. Savanna awoke to a breeze. Roger lay beside her, snoring. She climbed out of bed and approached the window. As she took hold of the sliding pane, she heard the sound of animals outside. Looking out, she realized Seattle had been replaced with a forest. Dinosaurs lounged by the shade of a lagoon. A few predators chased their prey. The sky looked down and smiled. Savanna smiled, too. Then clouds began to boil in the distance.
