As soon as I see Briar and Derek walk into the gallery, I can't help but smile. She looks amazing and happy. I'm still in shock she is going to have a baby. I know how excited she was a few months ago when they started to talk about trying. It might not be exactly what she envisioned, but she is going to be an amazing mother. I wish for her sake it wasn't overshadowed by all this drama. Briar is strong, and I have no doubt she will come out on the other side of this stronger. Derek is good for her, and I'm glad to see she has stopped pushing him away. He doesn't seem like the type of man to give up. He is what she needs right now.
She smiles and waves when she finally sees me. I had an ulterior motive for asking Briar to come tonight, and I'm hoping that she will agree. Inspira
