Logan's P.O.V.
"Is everything ok?"
Lacey asks and I nod my head.
"Yeah...can we talk, please, babe? there's something important I wanna discuss with you"
"Of course, what's up?"
Lacey asked me and I could tell from the look on her face that she was nervous but she's got no need to feel this way.
I grab hold of Lacey's hand and lead her over to the couch making sure to grab my briefcase off the table as I did.
"What's going on, Logan? is everything ok?"
Lacey asks me as we sit down on the couch hand in hand.
"No but it will be"
I say and she looks at me confused.
"I don't understand"
I let out a sigh as I encased Lacey's hand between both of mine.
"Earlier on before I left, I overheard the kids talking in their room and I found out why Logan Junior hates me"
