I straightened my clothes as I rode the elevator to the top floor. I've been at this for a few days now and I was getting the hang of it.
"Morning, Judy" I greeted as I passed by the front desk.
"Morning, Ms. Wilson" she smiled warmly. I've asked her to call me Katherine a few times but she insisted on being formal.
I entered into Jason's office but before I could sit, he shook his head. "You're heading out to collect something for me."
"Why didn't you call me on my way here?" I frowned. I could've easily headed to the location before coming here.
"It just came up. Jake just called me and informed me that he had to fly out to Georgia. I need you to pick up a document he was supposed to drop off today."
I nodded and took the slip of paper with the address written on it.
