Coming back of her uncle

Then she recieves a call from someone. It was her dad. ''' Why is dad calling now? it's not that late I guess '' asserts Sophia, ''' It's only 7pm though. Pick up the call anyway''' advises Edward. '' Alright '' then she picks up the call.

''' Come back home dear your uncle has come '' says her dad. ''' What really ? '' asks Sophia. ''' Yes he has come back home you come immediately '' says her dad. '' Alright you wait I am coming ''' says Sophia.

''' What happened ?'' asks Edward. ''' My uncle who was missing some days ago has comeback home now '' replies Sophia. ''' What ? shouldn't you inform the police ? ''' asserts Edward. ''' Yeah but first I should get back home I guess dad has already called the police '' Sophia says '' god knows what's the situation there now ?''.

'''' Go now and tell me at night about all that has happened alright ?''' he says. She nods. ''' See you later then '' she says . ''' See you later you too go back home early ''he says '' goodnight bye ''. '''' You too goodnight bye take care '' she replies.

They both part ways after that. Sophia heads towards her home. She was feeling uneasy about her uncle's arrival. ''' Is he really the murderer ? if he is then why did he come back ? I wonder what's the situation down there ? ''' .

She hurriedly heads towards her house. Arriving at the house gate she notices that there is a car there. ''' I think that this is the uncle's car but what is it doing here? '' Sophia thought. She goes inside. '' I guess the cop isn't here yet for now ''.

In the living room ,

Sophia saw that everyone at present there. Her dad noticed her. ''' Sophia you have arrived ''' her dad approaches her. ''' What is everyone doing doing here ? '' she asks. ''' See who has came back '' remarks her grandpa in a shrieking tone.

It was her uncle who was standing there. ''' Uncle George , you came back ? '' Sophia asserts. ''' Ah hm yes '' he replies. ''' Did you called the cop yet ? '' she asks her dad. ''' Yes they will arrive any minute now '' replies her dad.

''' I see. Where was he all these while did you ask him ? ''' she asks. ''' Yes I tried to ask him several times but refused to say anything and stayed all silent ''' says her dad. '' When did he arrive here ? ''. ''' A while ago just after you had left '' he replied.

'' So that was his car outside as I thought '' . ''' Why did you even had to come back here to show us your face ? '' remarks her grandpa. ''' I just had to come back to tell you all the truth that's why after that I will leave if I am proven guilty '' George replies.

'' Do whatever you want to I don't want to breath the same air which is he breathing in ''' comments her grandpa. ''' Dear don't be so much harsh towards him. He's just like your own son '' retorts her grandpa consoling him.

Her grandpa sits down onto the sofa. George was standing there his eyes were as if looking like frozen with ice. Sophia went to a side and texted Edward about the situation here. He didn't gave any reply yet at the time cop Laxus has arrived along with his squad.

''' Good evening mr.George. Where have you been all these while ? ''' asks Laxus sitting down onto the sofa. '' Please have a sit '' . George sits down with his shaking legs and hands. ''' So tell me where you were all these while ? and do you know that mrs.Maria has been killed ? '' Laxus comments.

''' No I didn't know that she i dead '' George stutters adverting his gaze. ''' Is that so ? then what were you doing at home that night along with her? answer ''' Laxus asserts raising an eye brow. '''' I was in my room resting '' he replies.

''' Then you were taking a break doing some physical activity along with MRS.Maria ? and then you killed her right ? '' laxus remarks. ''' No that's not it at all. I was in my room resting. I did nothing when I left the house she was still alive '' he stammers.

''' May I know where did you went to after killing off her ? '' Laxus asks. '' I did not kill her. I was feeling hot so I went out for some fresh air on a long drive and then - '' her stops talking. '' This sounds really absurd you know ''' he comments.

''' And why is that ?'' asks George. ''' I am telling the truth here ''. '' You are not telling the truth. And I can guarantee that cause I have been in this profession for too long. From this point I can already tell who's telling the truth and who' s lying. And I know it that you are lying cause - '' Laxus stops talking.

''' Miss Sophia you can understand what I am saying right ? do you find anything weird in his statement ? '' . ''' Well .... his feeling hot seems weird to me as it's the month of January and the temperature here is too low for anyone to feel hot and here you went on a long drive to cool off your had when most of the roads were covered in snow '' Sophia replies.

''' Exactly that's what I was trying to tell you people. How can he feel hot in ths weather and most of the roads are covered in snow here where did youb went for a drive ? unless you went outside the town that's a different story cause that road is always clean. So tell us the truth ?'' Laxus asks.

''' I ... ''' George stutters ''' I went to thre house of a friend of mine. ''. ''' Oh really but I asked mostly all the people you may know and they sid that you haven't been there ? so are all those people lying ? ''' Laxus asks. ''' Well...... now I remember. I went to the bar to drink as the party was cancelled at my friends place. I stayed the night there drinking and dancing and today morning I was feeling conscious.AFter that I went for a long drive and now I am here ''' he replies.

Laxus smiled. ''' Do you think that you can fool the eyes of a police so easily? I can guarantee that you were here when she had died and then you panicked and left the home. ''' I know it ''' .

''' No when I was here she was alive '' George shouts. ''' Then give us the information of the bar then we can confirm that you had went there. Maybe then you can be considered innocent. And don't shout '' Laxus asserts.

''' I have the contact number of the woman there you can talk '' George says ''' I am sorry for shouting ''. '' Alright I will talk to her '' Laxus says. 'George hands him over the phone it started ringing. ''' Where is the bar ? '' he asks.

''' Bar Paradise city of Oceania ''' replies George. '' Next city I see note this '' commands Laxus to the men who came with him. '' Hello is it the owner of bar paradise I am speaking to ? ''' . ''' Did a man named George went to your bar on the night of the new years eve ? around 12 am ? '''.

''' Oh he's a new customer there. So he really did went there ? I see thanks for that maybee I will go over there someday. Thanks hanging up now ''' says Laxus cutting off the phone.

''' What did the woman said ? '' asked Sophia's grandma. ''' She said that he was really there and stayed the night. Congratulations for creating an alibi but you need to explain it to me that where were you on january 1st till today ? '' Laxus asks.

''' I was driving here and there and I stayed at the hotel all these while '' George stutters. '' I hope that's true but still I can't understand that why you didn't wanted to come back home instead you went to a hotel ? '' laxus asks.

'' I just didn't felt like coming back home that's all '' replied George. ''' Do you know the cause of death of her? ''' . ''' NO I don't know ''' George replies. ''' It was poison probably she was given poison by someon who was in the house that day just like you mr.George ''' Laxus comments.

''' How come when the food was prepared by Sophia her daughter ? she must have put it in there because she always used to treat her daughter like an burden. And that night she was given the opportunity to poison her at the end by mixing it along with the food '' George comments.

''' What ? why would I do that ? '' Sophia retorts '' how can you make me the villain ?''. '' She's right my daughter would never do this. I know it definitely '' remarks her dad. ''' And why is that ? she hates her too then why ? she could be the only one would doit I know it '''' George comments.

''' I am the one getting framed here when I haven't done anything. How can you do this to me Sophia ? ''. ''' What ? '' Sophia was shocked '' I did nothing here I am innocent. I would never try to kill someone ''' Sophia asserts.

''' Who knows behind the face of this innocent girl could be a killer hiding '' George comments. ''' Stop all of this. George and you all could be suspects as everyone was at home that day and everyone had the opportunity to poison her food so no one is innocent here '' Laxus rebukes.

''' As we have no proof we can't arrest George yet. Till we gather the proofs on the fingerprints on the body of Maria you all are suspects. Jack take the fingerprints of mr.George '' commands Laxus. ''' Yes boss'' .

''' I don't need to feel afraid cause I am not the one who has killed her. I am confident that the fingerprints there aren't mine '' George boasts. ''' Wait where is the plate where there was the food ? '' asks Laxus.

''' When we arrived there was no food on the table so I don't know '' replies Sophia's grandma. ''' Maybe the poison was slow so after eating she washed the plate and had put it to it's original place the shelf''' remarks George.

'' No it's not possible cause the poison would rapidly spread into the body of the one who takes it. If she ate it then the plate would have been there. If someone was there to swipe it away then it's a different case '' Laxus looks at George.

''' But as we don't know who was here at that time we will take all the plates here for inspection. Whoever stole it must have thrown it away somewhere far enough for us to find. If we had that we could get some clue. After all taking the poison not a normal human would wash it away to the shelf right ? ''' Laxus remarks.

'' Mom she never washes her own plates. Always the maids used to do it. noW I do it because there aren't any servants at home '' `Sophia asserts. '' Then it makes all the more suspicious for me to understand that she was murdered by someone and the murderer threw the plate which she ate by panicking '' Laxus says looking at George.

He was looking down palpitating and sweating profusely ''' Anyway take the plates and dishes you should order a new set sorry for the inconveniences '' Laxus apologizes. ''It's alright no need to say sorry '' Sophia's grandpa remarks in a gruff voice.

''' I will definitely find out the killer if everyone's statements are true and from what I am guessing that someone is targeting your family. Do you have any suspicion on someone ? who's close to you who can do something like this ''' asks Laxus.

'' No we don't have any suspicion on anyone yet for now '' remarks the old woman in a angry voice. ''' You can leave now ''. ''' Mom don't behave to officer like that '' says Sophia's dad.

''' I was about to leave. For the safety of you all I have arranged some guards outside your home. God knows but I thnk that the murderer is planning to assassinate your whole family be careful and don't go out too much. If the murderer attacks you again then we can catch him this time definitely. And if any of you feel afraid then call me you have my number '' Laxus asserts with a sigh.

'' We aren't arresting you for now George but any of you can't leave the city till the case is solved. Alright ? ''. ''' Fine with me ''' George remarks and goes upstairs. ''' You all take care of yourselves. Are you all finished taking the dishes ? '' Laxus asks.

'' All done ''.

'' Then let's get going '' he says. '' I will leave for the day then will inform when I find anything out '' . ''' Goodnight '' her dad says. '' A very good night to you. Let's go boys '' he says to his people and they all leave after that.
