INVESTIGATION GOING ON

While Sophia and Edward were talking the cop called . '' Miss Sophia get back home early it's related with the investigation of your brother's death i have called your family members too '' after that he hanged up .

'' What did he say ?'' Edward asked . '' He said to get back home he has called all the members i have to go now '' she replied putting the cellphone in her bag . ''' Okay tell me what happens about it afterwards hurry up then '' he said .

'' See you then ''' she said . '' Will call you at night '' he said . '' Ok''' she rushed towards her home . By the time she arrives at the gate there were some policemen and car . She went in . Everyone was waiting line by line .

There was the boys who were Samuel's friends also . '' The cops must have called for him ;'' she thought . '' Come miss Sophia , we were waiting for your arrival '' the cop said . ''As you know about your son who has died today i have called for you to interrogate the friends of Samuel who were here at the night of the party '' he said .

'' So what did you guys do that night tell me everything '' he stated . '' From the first ones go tell your name and what you did '' .

'' I am Leonard , i know Samuel from school , that night when he had died we were doing party we ate and drank ... and at night when we were all drunk we all somehow fell asleep the moment we woke up it was morning and when we didn't saw him we looked around and saw him hanging in the tree '' the first one said .

'' I see , next '' he said .

'' I am Tusk , i know him from primary , i can say the same thing as Leonard '' he said . '' I am Hopkins , same thing as Tusk said . All ones left said the same thing .They gave the same statements .

After hearing all of their statements the cop said '' okay you can all go now i will ask for you when we need to ask something '' . They all left after that . '' You have heard all of their statements does it raise any question for any of you ?'' he asked .

At that time dad said , '' Don't you think that any of them are behind this ?'' . '' Well that could be a suggestion but i don't think that they all are saying a lie cause their statement seems legible , but we can't guarantee that they aren' behind all of this '' he said .

'' I believe one of them must have done this '' said her mother . '' We need to investigate a lot anyway Sophia tell me where did you went last night we need to ask whether what you told us was true or not '' the cop said .

'' I ,.. the place i went to last night is twenty minutes away from this house the house belongs to Harry quite an old house it is there was many friends of him at the party around twenty to thirty '' she replied , quite irritated .'' Okay all noted , i am leaving for the day will gather you all again when i find anything '' he said before leaving .

'' When will we get the forensics report ?'' Sophia's mother asked . '' In two days '' he replied . Then he left . '' Where did you went to Sophia ?'' asked her father . '' I went to the library '' she replied .

'' I see anyway go back to your room and study no point in thinking about it '' he said .'' Mom and dad go back to your rooms also '' . Her grandpa and grandma both went back to their rooms . '' No matter what anyone does i won't be able to get my son back '' saying th is her mother ran to her room .

In the evening , Sophia was reading one book and thinking about all the things that has been happening lately . '' What could be the motive behind killing Samuel ?'' that thought aroused her mind . She has been pondering about it for a while .

She got up and grabbed something to eat from the kitchen . She found some chips in the cupboard grabbed it and went back to her room . While eating she noticed one book it was titled ' the ABCD murders by Agatha Christine .

She took the book and started reading it . She found it quite interesting , going through half of the pages she got hooked on it . Right at that moment called Edward . She picked it up . '' Hey , how are you doing ?'' he asked in a casual tone .

'' I am doing well , i had been reading one book in a while you called in the midway '' she answered putting it down onto the table . '' I see which one ?'' he asked . ''ABCD murders '' she replied , leaning back onto the chair .

'' I had read about it the killer kills the people in alphabetical order '' he replied . '' No don't ruin all the fun before reading '' she begged . '' Okay okay i understand the cop came today i guess what did he say ?'' he asked .

'' He took all the statements of all of Samuel's friends and took information about Harris and the people who were at the party i guess he will interrogate you too '' she said quite worried . '' It's okay i have alibi i was with you the entire time '' said he .

'' Yeah i know you don't need to worry '' she replied . '' Anyway stay careful ,we don't know whether that person is after you or not '' he said . '' Yeah i know '' she replied . '' What are you planning to do during the winter vacation ?'' he asked .

'' Well no plans yet for now '' she replied getting up from the chair . '' Then , do you wanna go somewhere to lift up your mood ?'' he asked . '' Where ?''' she asked . '' Well to a cafe nearby ? then to somewhere far away for the day ?'' he asked .

'' But will they permit me ?'' she asked , thinking about her parents . '' Well , think up a excuse then '' he said . '' I need to persuade them then let me see '' she said . ''Well we have time you can tell me when you want to go , it's only for your good that i planned so only what you want that matters the most '' said he .

'' Do you love me so much ?''' she asked in a gentle voice . '' Yes , i like you , i love you ''' he shouted . '' How can you say something embarassing like that so easily ?'' she blushed . '' Wait , are you blushing or something ?'' he said smirking .

'' W-what .. no ... i am not blushing at all '' she blurted out . '' But i can see your cheeks getting red and your flushed face thinking about me '' he said . '' Hey are you reading my mind or something ?''' she asked .

'' Yes , i can cause i love you '' he whispered '' so i know everything about you '' . '' Anyway , enough teasing for the day '' she retorted . Meanwhile , she heard someone shouting . '' I am hanging up for now let's talk later '' she said .

'' okay then bye for now '' he said . Then ended the call and went out of her room .
