I pulled out the chair as I sat next to mother. I missed having dinners like this while I was in the United States.
"Your Mum told me you finished from Yale just like your sister, that's impressive. when did you finish because Tony here finished two years ago from Harvard" Cynthia said proudly. it was typical of Nigerian mothers, they would take absolutely any opportunity to brag about their Childrens achievements. I remember how mother would slip into every conversation about how are two daughters attended the best universities in the world and how proud she was.
