steadily now, and Ollie and Pas were no longer needed, Kerrick still lay motionless.
Ollie and Pas had stayed vigilant right along with him and Rune, and did everything they could to keep Kerrick alive. His two new assistants had gone above and beyond, and Dain would never forget it. He vowed to find a way to try to repay them for their loyalty and friendship. Once Kerrick’s heart kept a strong, steady rhythm for more than twelve hours, Dain and Logan had sent the two cuties off to get some well-deserved rest.
