As soon as it was quitting time, I ran out of the office like my ass was on fire. As if it wasn't bad enough that Quinn turned out to be my mystery cherry picker. I had to spend the entire day under his watchful eye. He kept looking at me as if he was waiting for me to have an aha moment. It was somewhat funny. I was dying to talk to Amelia and Phoebe about it but I needed to get home so I could do that. Amelia was already there since my dad loaned her one of his cars and Phoebe was on her way. On top of everything, Amelia didn’t have lunch with me, since she had lunch with Adrian and I had lunch in my office. Alone.
