Sitting in my rooms in front of the fireplace in the sitting room, staring at the dancing flames. Sipping my scotch as I wonder if it was worth it, drawing up the contract all those years ago, or if it was a mistake that I’m now paying for. I never wanted to use the contract against my darling Mate, she’s so headstrong. I love that about her, I wouldn’t change her for the world if I could. She’s Perfect.
I admire her, she wants to stay strong for her family after losing her mother, I know she feels lost and sad. I feel her emotions through the bond, she doesn’t know how to block her emotions yet. I blocked mine from her so she wouldn’t fear my feelings for her or our bond. She refuses to believe that we belong together that she is my one and only.
