Days turned into weeks and we took turns watching over Cayden. The color slowly returned to his cheeks, his wounds were almost completely healed but he was still skinny. During the day the queen and Theseis would watch him, then Dimitri would take over and finally me. I slept next to him, spoke to him told him we miss him, and I did. I desperately wanted to see those piercing emerald green eyes again and hear his sultry deep voice. I wanted him to hold me, I would snuggle up close to him and place his arm on my waist holding his hand in place as if he was holding me, laying my head on his chest listening to his steady heartbeat.
I told him everything about me, I’m not sure if he could hear me, but I wanted so badly to believe he did. But I’ll tell him again when he wakes up. I do
