A loud screeching sound echoed throughout the empty road as soon as the loud gunshot was heard. I immediately hold on to my seat tightly as the car lost it's control.
" F-f**k!" Lucas shouted as he quickly pulled me towards him to cover me from any harm. My heart's beating loudly as the familiar fear enveloped me.
The car forcefully hit a tree that made Lucas hit his body on the window. My eyes widened as I stare at him and the gunshots stopped. With a shivering hand I immediately checked if Lucas is okay and was so relieved when I feel him breathing.
" An ambushed!" Bonito shouted and pulled out his gun while quickly unbuckling his seatbelt. He looked back at us and I noticed how blood is dripping from his head.
I gulped hardly as I think of Redon, am I going to die here? I ask
