Redon

" DGAME will release a new RPG Game this July, according to the spokesperson of the company, CEO and Founder Mister Redon Ivanov is the one who designed the newest game that will surely captivate the interest of different players around the globe, based on the latest updates, DGAME will hold an opening competition for this new game after 3 months from the release date- "

I let out a sigh and then closed the live news broadcast from my computer. My eyebrows are furrowed because of annoyance as I dial Miguel's number while tapping my hand on the table in front of me.

" Hello, sir? I'm in the middle of a meeting, is this something urgent?" He answered making me roll my eyes.

Wow, just wow. How dare he say that to me? After leaking that kind of information? This dumbass.

" This is urgent Mr. Lee and if that meeting is much more important than your position in the company then I don't mind waiting for you till you're done- "

" Ah- I'm so sorry Mr. Ivanov, this is a meeting to close the deal for our upcoming project with the WeTech Company- "

" Aish " I sighed and breathe in deeply trying to calm myself.

For f*****g sake, this guy is getting on my nerves.

" Fine, if you don't close the deal then say goodbye to your job, call me as soon as possible when you're done, we have things to talk about," I said in annoyance and ended the call.

Lucky him, if only that deal isn't important then he should've lost his job right now. He's so stupid, I already made it clear that don't leak important information like that to the media because I still want to make changes and improve the plan.

" Señorito, here is your tea" a familiar voice spoke behind me.

I sighed harshly before I turned around to face Celia. She's in her mid-50s and her hair is almost totally white now due to her old age. She's looking at me with worry in her eyes making me calm a bit. She's my Nanny and she's been with me ever since I was a child. Her presence comforts me just like how I feel whenever I'm with my mom.

" Thank you," I said and nodded my head at her. Celia smiled at me which I respectfully responded with a small smile. I don't really like talking to people and Celia knows it well she also knows how much I value my privacy.

I nodded to acknowledge her service before I turned my back on her to face my monitor. I opened the website for the game that I'm currently getting addicted to, and browsed through the different tools and skills I can buy or trade. I wore my headphone and then focused on reading the information about different spells for the game.

" Uhm.. this is a nice spell, I think I'll reach a higher level dungeon if I upgrade my weapons and attacks using this spell, " I said talking to myself while trying to choose what spell should I buy.

" Señorito Redon? "

I'm so stressed because of Miguel's stupid decisions. I don't even know why I trusted that i***t to be the president of the company. He's so useless for f*****g sake. And that's the main reason why I'm playing than being productive right now.

" Señorito "

Playing is my escape, my love, my everything. I can't live without my beloved games.

" Ah! This one! Oh damn, this spell is so nice, I'll buy this too- "

" Señorito! " I almost jumped when a familiar voice shouted shocking me. I quickly looked at my back and found Celia smiling awkwardly while scratching her head.

" Woah Celia! you scared me! " I said unbelievably and removed my headphones. I can still feel my heart throbbing fast because of shock .

" Señorito , forgive me for scaring you, I was calling you for a few times now but you can't hear me that's why I.. " she said apologetically without finishing her statement. I sighed and shake my head . Today is so annoying.

" Don't worry about that but give me time to calm down cause you scared me" I said calmly and drank the tea she brought here for me .

The old lady just scratch her head because of what happened. I offered her a chair where she happily sat down. I faced my computer while sipping the tea while waiting for myself to calm down.

" What is it Nay ? " I asked as I turn my chair to face her. She smiled softly at me .

" We're gonna go shopping later, I was just wondering if you want me to buy you something? " She asked directly which made me think.

" Hmm " I said while thinking as I play with my headphones in my hand. I'm looking straight towards my headphones, staring and entertaining myself with the blinking colors from it.

I stopped playing with my headphones when an idea suddenly popped up in my mind . A mischievous grin slowly appeared in my face as I look at the old lady waiting for my response.

She raised an eyebrow at me, totally confused because of my expression.

" Ahhh yes, I need you to buy me something " I said excitedly with a happy and playful smile on my face and then walked towards the old lady to tell her what it is.

Shit, how did I even put myself into this mess? I said to myself while staring at everyone who's waiting on the line.

The place is old and dirty, the walls are made of woven light materials like bamboo with holes in almost every part of it. The roof that's made of iron sheets that's now rusty and full of holes too.

" How much did you get Tokyang?" Boss Lupo asked the little kid while sitting on a dirty old sofa that's already broken. I can already see the springs and foam coming out from the frame.

" I got 5k today boss " the little kid answered making me bite my lower lip in horror.

I'm dead, I didn't get any money today. This is my stomach's fault, if only I didn't bought food earlier then at least I have 100 to give Boss Lupo . I swear to god , I'll get beaten up today.

For f**k's sake this is that guy's fault! If only he didn't fool me, I wasted the whole day to get him comfortable with me, to give in on my charms and then in the end he doesn't have any money with him! I only got his wrist watch and sold it for 100 but then I spend all of it for food.

That guys looks so good too, his skin is so smooth and white and he behaves nicely who wouldn't think that he's rich right? He's a big big scam!. This is why I can't trust good looking guys, what will I do with them if they're all just looks? I want cash! I want to get something valuable and pricey from them. Arghh, I should just accept the fact that old and wrinkly guys are the ones who have money with them. I shouldn't have been too picky.

" Hey Sayra! You're next! Stop daydreaming b***h " Boss Lupo's ugly follower shouted at me making me roll my eyes in annoyance. Hmph, he's just mad cause I didn't let him touch me when he tried to pay me for a night.

" I know ugly duckling " I rolled my eyes at him and flip my hair before I walk towards Boss Lupo who's shaking his head because of our attitude.

" Here comes my favorite, how are you Sayra? " Boss Lupo smiled at me widely making me cringe. Eww, what's with that smile. Don't tell me he wants to sleep with me?

" I'm good Boss " I awkwardly answered while thinking of a way to get myself out of trouble. I'm sure I'll be a punching bag later if I don't find a way out now.

" I'll guess, you got a big shot today? I heard that you're seen with a rich looking guy earlier, tell me is he good? " he asked me while checking me out. I gulped hardly as I notice how his eyes are burning with lust while looking at my body. I know that kind of look. All guys wants the same thing . I looked at him with disgust and tightened the hold on my sling bag. I will never sleep with him again, I only did that because I don't have any choice but right now I have lots of options.

" Uh yes about that Boss, there was a - " I stopped from talking when he stand up and touched my face. He's staring directly on my lips while I'm looking at his face, trying to calm down and not do anything that'll put me in danger.

" Hmm yes Sayra? Give me the money , I'll buy you a new dress and I'll give you nice food for today" he said while tracing my jaw with his fingers. He looked at my eyes and then smirked devilishly at me.

I gulped hardly while looking at his face. Boss Lupo doesn't look so bad but I despise him. I will never ever want to be with him. He chuckled when I didn't do anything and shook his head. He ran his fingers through his hair and then walked back to the sofa looking so annoyed.

" Put the money inside the bag " he said without looking at me. I looked at the bag beside him and stared at my sling bag. This is the time.

I looked around and there's a few people left. The others went back to the place where we stay for the night. Boss Lupo and his men took all the street kids including me and raised us this way. At the young age we're thought to steal and work for them in exchange of food, clothing and a place to stay. I never wanted to stay here but the kids need me . Unfortunately I have to leave now or else, I'll be dead in the morning.

I know how his men works and where they stay . I think I'll make it and if I don't, at least I tried and I fought for myself. I gulped hardly and slowly walked towards the bag while holding my sling bag. I stared secretly at the direction of where I'll go and inhaled deeply.

This is my last chance. I need to escape.
