"Is everything okay there, hija?" Dad asked me over the phone.
"Yes, Dad, everything's fine here.." Sagot ko.
"Just leave the rest to your staff, may party pa tayo mamayang gabi."
"I know Dad, hihintayin ko lang dumating yung florist, then I'll be at my condo to prepare for the party tonight," I said.
Umayos ako ng upo matapos ay hinila ang tasa ng kape sa round table. Hindi ako makakain dahil sa kamamadali kong makapunta dito at sa pressure sa nalalapit na anibersaryo.
