"Sir, here is the schedule for the day." his secretary gave him the tablet. "How is the meeting in the Apparel section?" Jeremy loosened his tie as he read about the contract that a certain brand was proposing. "The meeting concluded that they are willing to have a collaboration on the Bao Design to have the Cloud Event," she told him in detail. Jeremy sighed in relief and nodded "You may take your break." "Thank you Sir." she was about to leave when Jeremy called her again. "What day is it today?" he asked as he remembered something important. "Today is April 18th Sir." the secretary replied "It is today." Jeremy curved a smile ...... "Rein...! I haven't played any games together with you these past months." Meirin complained as they walked together exiting the building. "I told you I'm busy." "Busy your tooth. You spend all your free time with your boyfriend!" Meirin stomped. 2 months had passed and their relationship was still on fire as it started. "Then get one, you pitiful woman." Meirin was dumbfounded "You're getting bolder these days Valdir Rein!!" She caught up on Rein "Come on Rein, ask your boyfriend to come or maybe invite him! We don't know... maybe he loves to play games!" "He's busy. His global exhibit will open soon." Rein replied Meirin pouted "I should get a boyfriend." "You've been geeky all your years Mierin, be like a lady will you?" They passed the main entrance of the building. "Oh come on! I've been trying!" Rein snorted "Like changing your bunny pen and notebooks? And no longer shares your reviews on the Mangas you read online? Or...." "Stop it." Mierin glared but Rein only laughed. But they both stopped when they spotted a very familiar car in front of them but more importantly, the man right there waiting. He was too dashing and handsome that people can't help but stare back, his black coat hanging loosely on his well-built body, tall and his well-mannered posture was truly showing off. The people around them whose mostly the employees of the Valdir Corp. started gossiping and whispering because they knew the famous man. "Hey Valdir Rein, is that your husband?" Mierin asked from the shock. "It was Jeremy." Rein emotionlessly replied "Why... why does he have a bouquet?" Mierin asked "How will I know?" Rein replied But Mierin slapped him "Do you have any plans for today? Dinner? Date? Anniversary?--- oh wait." Mierin counted something on her fingers "It is your Anniversary!!" Mierin covered his mouth as he pinched Rein's arm. "Stupid, that's why he waited for you here and had flowers! Maybe he'll ask you on a dinner date! Oh, my heart!" she exclaimed as Jeremy finally spotted them and started walking towards them. And with a thought, Rein raised his eyebrows as he remembered it but shake his head "I told Lin to wait for me at the gallery because we will be having dinner together." Mierin twitched "But you see, your husband is here you can't make any more excuses like you do for these past months. And I can no longer do a cover-up." "Give your husband a time with you, just this time and... also, open up a conversation about finally filing a divorce that you told me about," Mierin suggested Rein stared at her "Such a genius 'Rin!" he exclaimed. "Hello." Jeremy greeted as he stopped in front of them. "Greetings Sir Houston." Mierin bowed. Jeremy smiled at her and turned to Rein. "Happy Anniversary." he then gave the bouquet Rein awkwardly smiled and reached for it "Thanks, but I don't have... any." "It's okay it is expected." Jeremy smiled like it was not a big deal but Mierin twitched with the awkwardness and for the logic. She cleared his throat, "Well then, I'll go ahead." she was about to leave when Rein called her "Mierin. The package I told you that I left on the East Branch, can you take it home?" he then threw his car key on her. And luckily Mierin wasn't stupid enough not to read between the lines. He wants her to go to Lin. "Roger," she replied and left "Let's go?" Jeremy invites. Rein nodded and can't help but feel frustrated. For their three years of marriage, nothing was worthy of mentioning but every anniversary, Jeremy would take him to a dinner date. "I heard you've become busy?" Jeremy asked as he drove Rein who was gazing at the car window was slightly surprised that he started a conversation and answered, "Yes, this season became messy, the market sales were abnormal, it was dropping and rising at the same time that's why we tried to control it by maintaining the top sale." Jeremy nodded in agreement because he already read the reports about it but he still want to indulge in a conversation, "Did you like the flowers?" Rein blinked from the question, "A-Ah of course it's beautiful." he forced an answer. "Shall I deliver some of it every day to your office?" Jeremy was quite contented with his answer Rein stared at him in disbelief "You don't need to. Besides, the flower will get ugly if I would see it every day." When they finally reached the place, it was an expensive restaurant that Jeremy rented all by himself. It is empty but the ambiance was romantic, with the sound of instrumental music and candle lights. "Did you prepare this?" Rein was surprised, normally they'll just have a normal and private dinner. "Did you like it?" Jeremy asked as he walked closer to Rein "You don't have to do this." Rein reprimanded as his eyes wander on the place But he almost jumped when Jeremy took his hand and dragged him at a table, "Let's have our dinner." Jeremy gently offered the chair for him to sit. "Thanks." Rein casually said While having dinner, Rein's mind was full of worry. He wasn't sure if Mierin did successfully send Lin home, that woman sometimes can't be reliable. And what would be Lin's reaction? He didn't like the cancellation of plans and base on his call earlier he seems to be excited to tackle the second phase of the preparation that his team finished in the day. "What's wrong? Do you have anything to do? You keep glancing on your watch." Jeremy interrupted the dead silence between them as he noticed Rein's current actions and uncomfortable. "Nothing... do you think the time we spent here is much longer than the usual?" Rein replied, their previous dinners were fast and quick. Rein didn't notice it but Jeremy's eyes became cold and distant, his thoughts were unknown. "How about we stargaze above. I prepared a high-grade telescope for us to use and in heaven's will, the sky was clear today." Jeremy immediately switched mood. Rein finds this ridiculous. Why does Jeremy have so much time to spend tonight? They went up and the roof was also well prepared and as he said, a newly launched high-graded telescope was placed at a corner. "Come." Jeremy took his hand again.
