JADEN POV
I sat impatiently on my chair as I waited for her. A newly drafted contract on my table and my lawyer seated across from me.
I knew that once I sent her the money, she'll be eager to accept my offer. Although, she wouldn't have much choice anyway. Her son wasn't doing good, and his runaway father obviously doesn't know.
“Sir…I'm..." My lawyer started.
“Wait a little. She'll be here soon,” I interrupted.
Another 5 minutes passed. I was beginning to grow really impatient at this point. I started pacing around my office, stopping in between to glance at the door.
I looked at my lawyer tap his legs continuously, and I got even more angry.
“Quit that noise right now,” I said with an eerie calm I was far from feeling. I saw him stop and hunched his shoulders.
