The next day Udu informed Nancy that he will like to go back to the village. Nancy said she will accompany him. On arrival at the motor park in the village, the frail looking Udu attracted attention of members of the community. Less than twenty-four hours, the damning story that went round was that Udu had a hair breadth escape from death in the hands of Nancy. The story was embellished that orthodox medicine could not give permanent cure to the ailment that has befallen Udu that is why Chief Udu was rushed back to the village.
