I grabbed the necklace from Serenity's hand. It now looked different from what I remembered. The silver cleat that was attached to the ball pendant was now missing. The ball itself wasn't as round and spherical as it was supposed to be. It now had a dent at the middle like someone had hit something heavy on it. If looked more like a circle than a ball. The state of the pendant made me collapse on the floor staring hard at it like my eyes alone could fix the damage in it. And then before u knew it the first tears rolled down my cheeks. Then the second till the fall was endless. I was crying. For the first time I was crying in the presence of people. I had only ever cried alone but now, I didn't care if they were all watching me sob like a five year old just for some pendant. This necklace
