“She is awake!” Meirah gleamed with happiness.
“We saw it. She is beautiful too!” Laura said as she matched Meirah’s happiness.
“Don’t be too happy,” Sebastian said as he stood up weakly. Leonard immediately went to Sebastian and helped him stand up.
“Are you okay, uncle?” Leonard asked with worry.
“I am. I just need some rest. The earlier thing made me weak,” Sebastian replied.
“You need to rest, father,” Laura said as she looked at Sebastian.
“Yes. I should have done that instead of you,” Leonard said, shaking his head.
“Don’t forget, your wolf might be stronger than mine but… I need my granddaughter's praise too,” Sebastian said with a cheeky smile.
“Look at your praise-hungry attitude! Seriously, when will you change? The promised dessert will be cut in half now!” Laura warned
