Chapter Eleven: Morgan asked, “What if we can’t find him?” None stood near enough to hear her question, and the universe declined a much-needed answer. Dejected, the princess plopped her butt down on a stack of abandoned crates. Her only company was Tuck’s pack animal, La’nora. The creature stood tied to the nearest upturned handcart. A leather muzzle covered the creature’s beak to keep the beast from snacking on the fallen bodies that surrounded them. Unsurprisingly, the only answer La’nora gave was a blank unblinking stare. Morgan pulled the cloth that masked her nose and mouth down before resting her elbows on her knees and forehead in her hands. Where is he? Her long hair fell, covering her face, providing a wonderful veil from which to hide behind. This trip through the Labyrinth
