18 One of the things Caroline loved most about her husband was that he always knew the right thing to say and do, even if she didn’t see it that way at the time. With the benefit of hindsight, she realised he rarely got it wrong. So although she wanted nothing more than to get home after work and go straight to bed, she couldn’t help but feel even more in love with Mark as he told her he’d organised a babysitter for the evening and was taking her out for dinner and drinks.
