Sadie. I use the sliding doors to enter my room through the balcony. Slowly, I walk towards the full-length mirror and just silently stare at myself. I was confused about what happened or what the hell I was. I turn to my right, then to my left, and check out the white pair of wings that were on my back. I always thought that angels were just fiction, which, when you think about it, is funny since humans believed the same thing about our goddess. Humans, just like us, have their deities. I never paid much attention to their religion or beliefs, but now looking at my wings, I can’t help but wonder if I’d been wrong to brush off their beliefs in their gods and angels.
